Brands Hatch Round 1 and 13

Again provides the first and last of the action in the chase for the country's premier crown, the circuit, once used for grass-track racing prior to being surfaced in 1950, Brands Hatch graduated to host the first of its 14 F1 World Championship Grand Prix races in 1964. Subsequently has hosted the inaugural round of the A1 Series while on two wheels, the World Superbike events have attracted enormous crowds with the annual visit to Kent the highlight of that championship.

Brands Hatch lies to the south-east of London and is situated on the A20 near to West Kingsdown, some three miles from Junction 3 of the M25. It is also linked via the A20 the M20 and M25/26 motorways. There is a regular rail service from London Victoria to Swanley
