Known as "the friendly circuit" it still provides testing times for the riders who face the contrasts of a long fast straight and the slowest hairpin anywhere in racing. The lake around which the circuit flows dictates the long sweeping corners, though a chicane was added last season as part of a major investment. Long sporting heritage includes some of the all-time greats, among them Hailwood and Agostini competing in major internationals such as the 'Race of the Year.' Mallory Park is situated in the village of Kirkby Mallory, just off the A47 between Leicester (8 miles) and Hinckley. There is easy access to the major road networks, the A5, at Hinckley and also the M69 with its fast links to both the M1 (jnc 21) and the M6 (jnc 2). Nearest railway station is Nuneaton.
