Italian motor racing fans are among the most enthusiastic in the world and you can bet they will be out in their droves to cheer on the Ducatis when the WSB circus comes to town. The down-hill Acque Minerali corner followed by the super fast Variante Alta chicane are fantastic spots to watch the riders being pushed to the limit. Add to that the 270km/h (170mph) Tamburello corner immediately after the start/finish. The long straights and relief changes make it a circuit where power is paramount, but reliability is also key as big speed drops make it tremendously hard on brakes.
