The site of Queen Elizabeth I’s headquarters for her Kent army, Folkestone, now hosts Flat and Jumps racing over 11 months of the year. Travel Information Local Transport Links By Road The course is four miles west of Folkestone, and 65 miles from London. Take the M20 and exit Junction 11, taking the A20 towards Lympne, Newingreen and Sellinge and follow the signs to the racecourse. From Canterbury, take the B2068 and follow the AA signs as you cross Junction 11. By Rail Special raceday trains run from Charing Cross and Waterloo East, stopping at Westenhanger Station, 100 metres from the course entrance.
