Welcome To Folkestone Racecourse
Established in 1898, this is Kent’s only racecourse located near the Channel Tunnel. The site of Queen Elizabeth I’s headquarters for her Kent army, Folkestone, now hosts Flat and Jumps racing over 11 months of the year. The course has recently undergone a complete makeover and now offers superb facilities.

By Road
The course is four miles west of Folkestone, and 65 miles from London. Take the M20 and exit Junction 11, taking the A20 towards Lympne, Newingreen and Sellinge and follow the signs to the racecourse. From Canterbury, take the B2068 and follow the AA signs as you cross Junction 11.
By Rail
Special raceday trains run from Charing Cross and Waterloo East, stopping at Westenhanger Station, 100 metres from the course entrance.

Food And Drink
The Lookout Restaurant and Bar offers a 3 course lunch for £25 per head with views over the track. The Paddock Brasserie also has a wide range of meals and snacks, tea coffee and soft drinks. There is also the Spitfire Pavilion, a lawn bar near the paddock, with tables under the trees

The Grandstand offers the best views of the course as well as access to the Winner’s Enclosure and the Parade Ring and the Winning Post
