Travel Information Local Transport Links By Road The racecourse is ten miles south of Glasgow. From Glasgow, take the M74 and exit Junction 5. From Edinburgh take the M8, exit Junction 6 and take the A723. From the south, take the A74 and M74 from Carlisle and exit Junction 5. By Rail Trains from London Euston and Yorkshire run to Glasgow Central. From here, take a connection to Hamilton West. Railway Station Hamilton West Railway Station 0.7 miles (1.2 km) Airport Glasgow 15.8 miles (25.4 km) By Air Nearest airport Glasgow and Cumbernauld. Hamilton Racecourse Facilities Betting There are Tote and bookmaker facilities across the course and you are also able to have a bet and a drink in Joe Punter’s Bar. Parking Free parking can be found in the main public car park. Children Under 16's are admitted free. There are plenty of bars including the Brandon Bar on the ground floor and 'Cats' Champagne Bar Viewing The stand overlooks the Winning Post. It gives exclusive access to certain bars and you can also easily access the Winner’s Enclosure and Parade Ring Dress Evening meeting provide a little more glamour than usual Grandstand Tickets: £12 Food And Drink There is a variety of food and bar outlets including the Panorama Bar with floor to ceiling glass overlooking the track.
