Welcome To Ludlow Racecourse With a record of racing dating back to 1729, Ludlow racecourse is located in the picturesque South Shropshire countryside with a golf course in the centre. There are 16 mainly mid-week jump meetings a year and this course offers an enjoyable and informal day’s racing in a friendly club atmosphere. |

Travel Information Local Transport Links By Road The racecourse is two miles north west of Ludlow. From the north take the A49 via Shrewsbury or via Hereford from the south. From the west take the A4113 and from the east the A44 from Worcester followed by the A49 By Rail From Paddington or Euston, pick up the Shrewsbury line at Newport Railway Station Ludlow Railway Station 2.2 miles (3.5 km) Airport Birmingham 42.7 miles (68.7 km) By Air Helicopters can land at the racecourse by prior agreement. Ludlow Racecourse Enclosures And Grandstands Members Tickets: £18 Food And Drink The Jubilee Stand restaurant provides 80 seats, a table for the day, and a 2 or 3 course lunch with balcony viewing of the whole racecourse. The Clive Pavilion restaurant provides a carvery menu and tables can be booked for the day Viewing The best views of the track are from the rooftop over the Members Stand or the Members Stand itself.
