Travel Information Local Transport Links By Road From the south take the M90 and from the north follow the A9. Tourist Board signs for Scone Palace take you to the racecourse on the By Rail Perth has a mainline station Railway Station Perth Railway Station 2.4 miles (3.9 km) Airport Dundee (Riverside) 16 miles (25.8 km) By Air The nearest Airfield is 3 miles away in Scone. Perth Racecourse Facilities Betting There are Tote and bookmaker facilities across the course. Parking There is free car parking available at the course however if you which to park in the picnic area, entry is £15 per car (maximum 4 adults). Children There are various activities including bouncy castles and entertainment. On major race days there are kids’ quad bikes and falconry displays, ferret racing and lots lots more. Children aged 16 and under can enter for free when accompanied by an adult (at all race meetings). Disabled The course is flat and easily viewed. There is easy access for wheelchairs to a number of bars and restaurants. There are also viewing ramps for disabled racegoers. |
Perth Racecourse Enclosures And Grandstands Grandstand Tickets: £13 (apart from the Perth Festival 20-22 April and Perth Gold Cup Day on 5 June, when tickets will be £18). Food And Drink The New Grandstand provides a unique dining experience with panoramic views across the raccourse. Private tables of 6 or more can be booked in advance for all race meetings. Packages start from £50 per guest. The Club Dining Room offers a hot or cold silver service. Please book a table in advance by calling the Racecourse Office on 01738 551597. A large bar upstairs in the Club Stand provides a panoramic view of the racecourse and overlooks the winning post, this bar also includes the new Taittinger Champagne & Wine Bar. For bars try the Last Ditch Bar, the Parade Ring and the Paddock Bar.There are a wide range of restaurants and bars in this area including the Bindaree, with comfortable facilities providing a wide range of hot and cold meals & snacks during the day, sit in or take away, as well as some healthy eating options. Viewing The stand overlooks the Winning Post, there is access to all the course facilities and both the Winner’s Enclosure and Parade Ring.
