Travel Information Local Transport Links By Road From the south, take the A1/A1M. Pick up the B6265 towards Ripon – the course is just off this road. By Rail The nearest station is Harrogate. Railway Station Thirsk Railway Station 9.3 miles (14.9 km) Airport Leeds And Bradford 20.6 miles (33.1 km) By Air Helicopters can land at the racecourse by prior agreement. Facilities Betting There are Tote and bookmaker facilities across the course. Parking There is plenty of free car parking at the course. If you want to be centre course there is a £10 charge, max 4 people Children There are two children’s playgrounds at Ripon. Children 16 and under are allowed in free when accompanied by an adult. August 2 is Children’s Day with many extra attractions. Disabled There are viewing facilities in the Club Enclosure and good access around the course. |
Enclosures And Grandstands Club Tickets: £17 Food And Drink The Club enclosure has a members dining room and two bars with a full selection of drinks and snacks. The Paddock Room is self service, with a choice of light snacks and sandwiches while The St Wilfrid’s Bar offer sandwiches and coffee. The Champagne Bar offer Seafood specialities throughout the day. Viewing he best views of the course are available from here. There is also reserved parking, a separate entrance, dedicated hospitality facilities and access to the Parade Ring and Winner’s Enclosure. Dress Smart Casual Tattersalls Tickets: £11 Food And Drink Bars and fast food outlets are available throughout the area including the Wakeman Bar and Jim Joel Bar and the Fish ‘n’ Chip Shop. A self service cafeteria, the Fountains Café, serves hot and cold food. Viewing The views of the course are from the main undercover Grandstand, with access to the Parade Ring and Winner’s Enclosure. Dress Course Tickets: £4 or £12 for a car and four adults. Food And Drink The Course Bar and Tea Bar both serve snacks. Viewing Trackside viewing gets you up close to the action, however, you are unable to view the Parade Ring and Winner’s Enclosure from here. Dress |
