Salisbury Racecourse is one of England's oldest racecourses with racing taking place on the picturesque downland since the sixteenth century. With spectacular views taking in the cathedral, the course stages a number of meetings during the summer months when it successfully combines high quality racing with a friendly and enjoyable day out.

Food And Drink
Bars include the Bibury Suite Bar , the Wessex Bar, the Persian Punch Bar and the Paddock Bar. The Wessex Bar and Paddock Bar both have an enclosed area for drinks to be taken outside. Food is available in most of the bars. can enjoy a meal in the Members' Restaurant or Conservatory Restaurant.
Viewing
There are two viewing stands, one of which has a large seated area. You can also view the action from the Members’ Lawn, which is nearest to the Winning Post. It allows easy access to the Paddock, and the Winner’s Enclosure.
Dress
Smart Casual, no shorts, T-shirts, or trainers. Smart jeans allowed.

The Tattersalls Bar is located under the Tattersalls Stand and you can also use the Paddock Bar. Food is available in both and there are also mobile catering units near the paddock.
Viewing
The Tattersalls Stand offers views of the track and access to the Paddock and Winner’s Enclosure.

Low numbers at an advantage in sprints when the going is soft



Right-handed and galloping. Loop course for races of 1m2f plus. 7f run-in (part of a nearly straight mile) is mainly uphill and makes for a stiff test.
