Travel Information Local Transport Links By Road Taunton Racecourse is on the B3170 road from Taunton to Corfe & Honiton, approximately 2 miles south of Taunton town centre. Leave the M5 at Junction 25 and travel towards Taunton, following the signs for the Racecourse. If you are traveling on the A303 from Dorset or South Somerset, take the A358 which crosses under the M5 and pick up the racecourse signs. For those traveling from North Devon or Minehead, the B3170 leaves Taunton from the traffic lights by the town centre Sainsbury’s. By Rail Taunton Station is on the Paddington line Railway Station Stratford-Upon-Avon Railway Station 0.9 miles (1.5 km) Airport Birmingham 18.6 miles (29.9 km) By Air Helicopters can land at the racecourse by prior agreement Map and Route Finder Directions and route plan will be displayed on the google maps pages, from here you can print, email and save the map. |
Facilities Betting There are Tote and bookmaker facilities across the course Parking All car parking is free. Children Children aged 16 and under enter for free when accompanied by an adult. Disabled All the public areas of the course are accessible and there is a special viewing area for wheelchairs. |
Enclosures And Grandstands Portman Grandstand Tickets: £15 Food And Drink The Bar and a Cafeteria provide all the food and drink facilities needed or you can use the facilities in Tattersalls. Viewing The Stand enables punters to view from the best positions; there is access to all other racecourse facilities.
