Travel Information Local Transport Links By Road Uttoxeter is just off the A50, midway between Stoke-on-Trent and Derby. From the north or south take the M6, exiting Junction 14 and use the Stafford ring road. Alternatively, take Junction 15, follow the signs for A50 Stoke on Trent, then A50 Uttoxeter. The M40/M42 is an alternative to the M1/M6. By Rail Uttoxeter station adjoins the course. You can catch a direct train from Crewe, or pick up a connection at Stoke-on-Trent. Railway Station Uttoxeter Railway Station 0.3 miles (0.5 km) Airport East Midlands 22.4 miles (36 km) By Air Helicopters may land (by prior arrangement) at the racecourse itself, while aircraft may use Tatenhill Airfield at Needwood, seven miles from the course. Facilities Betting There are Tote and bookmaker facilities across the course Parking Car Parking is free. Children Children aged 16 and under can enter for free when accompanied by an adult. Uttoxeter usually hosts a funfair, bouncy castle and children’s entertainment at major meetings and on Bank Holidays. Enclosures And Grandstands Premier Tickets: £16 - £18 (£18-£20 from 2006)with the exception of Midlands Grand National Day £25 Food And Drink A wealth of options await you in the Premier Enclosure including the Hoops Champagne and Seafood bar/restaurant (book on 01889 562 561). Café Quick offers light bites and refreshments. The Premier bar offers relaxed surroundings ideal for a drink during racing and finally, we have the Platinum Suite Restaurant where a table can be reserved for the day, three course meals will cost you £40 per head Viewing The Premier Grandstand provides views across the course; there is access to all the racecourse facilities as well as the Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure. Dress Relaxed however no shorts allowed. Grandstand & Paddock Tickets: £12 -£14 (£14-£16 from 2006) with the exception of Midlands Grand National Day £20 Food And Drink The Nosebag and Hungry Jockey offer hot and cold snacks to keep racegoers going through the day. Viewing This is the main Enclosure, with access to the Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure as well as viewing from the covered grandstand which provides seating and standing areas.
