Travel Information Local Transport Links By Road The Racecourse is 37 miles from Bristol and 16 miles from Yeovil. The course is off the B3081 which in turn is off the A303. From the east and the west the A303 serves the area; from the north and from the south the A357. By Rail The nearest station is Templecombe, 4 miles south of Wincanton. There is a raceday courtesy bus service that meets the train from Waterloo before racing and returns racegoers to the station after racing. Wincanton Racecourse Facilities Betting Tote facilities are available in every area with bookmakers situated in front of the grandstand in each Enclosure. Wincanton Racecourse Enclosures And Grandstands Premier Tickets: £15 - £20 (A Premier Enclosure Badge does not include access to the Premier Viewing Area. Tickets for this area can be purchased on the day at £3 each, subject to availability). Food And Drink There is a choice of four public bars, three of which include a food service area, including the See More Business bar which serves lobster and smoked salmon and the Stalbridge bar which offers homemade cakes, pies and seasonal dishes. There’s also the Kingwell restaurant overlooking the paddock and with easy access to the Grandstand. Viewing The grandstand in this part of the course overlooks the winning post and has seating. There is also an indoor, seated viewing gallery. You can also see the horses in the Parade Ring and Winner’s Enclosure and access the other Enclosures Dress Grandstand Tickets: £10 - £14 Food And Drink There is a choice of two bars, two food outlets and numerous mobile units selling burgers and chips etc. The Badger bar offers homemade cakes, pies and seasonal dishes Viewing From the main grandstand.
